I've started this newsletter as a way to help me – and hopefully you – navigate this generational step change in technology, as we stare down a Fourth Industrial Revolution powered by AI, Blockchain, quantum computing (coming soon) and more.
I've spent my career straddling traditional media businesses and helping them embrace digital change, across the news, sports, Telco & entertainment industries. I may have started this journey as a radio journalist at the ABC (where I was immediately shipped off to Kalgoorlie), but a fascination with the web quickly pulled me into the digital vortex. Since then it's been an enriching ride through Content, Product & Tech. But this latest wave of innovation has excited me in a new way; we truly are on the precipice of deep societal change.
What to expect
These musings will come from a safe space – one that can bridge the gap between Web2 & Web3, that leans into my experience of guiding businesses through the opportunities without sounding like a crazed evangelist.
Expect a few deep dives into areas I am passionate about. Expect a lot of collections of cool shit I have discovered in my late night Internet rabbit holes. Hopefully I'll get a few friends to contribute too.
