Well, for a start it's the name of my favourite Radiohead song [even though this outs me a classic Gen-X music nerd]. But I will connect it (weirdly of course) to what this newsletter is about.

I was considering somewhere to collate musings from my Web2 career while sharing my fascination, excitement (and hopefully some insights) into where things are headed, as it's clear we're on the cusp of a Fourth Industrial Revolution, driven by AI, Blockchain and in the near future, quantum computing.

Some editions will be a deeper dive on specific topics, but I suspect most will be a collection of the things I have read that I think is cool, useful, and helps bridge the gap between the Internet you know, and the one about to make a generational leap forward.

If you're a marketer, Web2 professional, if you're web3 curious, a crypto cynic, a crypto believer, read the news, like sport, like music, like entertainment or just like techy shit, hopefully there's something in here for you.

In the deepest ocean
The bottom of the sea
Your eyes
They turn me
- Radiohead, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi

The way I see it - it's a bit like scuba diving (something I love but only do on holidays). We float near the very top of these vast, deep oceans and think we understand it, but in reality we are literally only scratching the surface of what this tech can, and will, do in the near future (told you it was a weird connection).

Hope you like reading this as much as I have fun sharing it.

Val.
